Where were you when the world stopped turning.....

13 years ago I was watching it all unfold on TV. I was taking the last class for my bachelor's degree and had to drive from Linda Vista to San Marcos. On the way I called my bff and she could barely understand me through my ugly cry but when she figured it out she was crying too. I got to school and we cried some more and they sent us all home. That was the day our generation lost our innocence, when terror came home. Always loved this song. Alan Jackson summed it up nicely. Take a minute to remember those we lost, the first responders who are still recovering and the family and loved ones of all the victims. Hug your kids. Hug your parents. Hug your friends.
